Welcome Guys. My first review is about Viola Grace

I'd like to start today about Viola Grace's Sector Guard Series.
In general, I like them. They're simple, well constructed, consistent which is something amazing for an author with hundreds of books in the same constructed universe.
Each character can be seen in later books, or at least be subtly mentioned. I specially like her sentient worlds and their Avatars, makes me whish for our own Mother Earth's awareness. Now, in her own words, Viola Grace specializes in the happily ever after, easy to do if your characters mate for life, but there are some things I don't like. In order to achieve this "happily ever after" some characters are rushed, their emotions are not well thought out. The females are manipulated in some cases, and we see no resentment, not even some show of displeasure. They just simply accept everything with a constantly upbeat attitude that no women has in the world, at least, without bitching in our own thoughts, which would be fine if she showed, but no, we... get... passive... acceptance... for... EVERY SINGLE DAMN THING.
If this fact doesn't bother you, then it is a wonderful collection of short books, really short books, which sit very well when you're feeling all mushy, or want to travel to other worlds and universes. The diversity of species, worlds and talents are enough to fire up even the most rational person's imagination.
